As you know, the Lucia Lamour Foundation is a nongovernmental organization (NGO) and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with no political affiliation or ambitions. Our mission is to reduce illiteracy in Haiti through free educational programs, humanitarian assistance, and the creation of improved learning environments. We are committed to giving back to Haiti, with a special focus on Trou du Nord. Your unconditional support allows us to serve children and communities, particularly in the North and Northeast regions of the country.

To the children of Haiti, especially those of Trou du Nord:

Your parents work tirelessly, often in the face of immense challenges, to provide you with a stable family life and access to quality education so that you may one day take your place in Haitian society. You are essential partners and emerging leaders. Engage in music, sports, teamwork, and community service. Your involvement is crucial.
