The Story of Real Lamour

Born in Trou du Nord, Réal Lamour is among the Truvians who want to bring progress to his hometown. He has no political ambitions, yet he feels the situation in Haiti is unbearable. He could not stand by and watch as the country deteriorates, along with Trou du Nord where he spent a good part of his childhood. His attachment and sense of duty led him to get involved in the development of his country.
Réal is the president of the Lucia Lamour Foundation Inc. A 501.c.3 entity dedicated to improving schools in Haiti. He believes with superior infrastructure, excellent access to education and humanitarian aid, the foundation can bring free educational programs, sustainable development, and a better environment. Trou du Nord could be the benchmark that puts Haiti back on the path to modernization.
Réal always focuses on goals rather than challenges. From childhood he cherished his dreams and carried out small projects. Today, as an engineer, he is a firm believer in prosperity and has shown determination in everything he accomplishes.

For instance, the first project was the construction of the Lucia Lamour auditorium, which was financed entirely by the Lamour family, and the second was the construction of the Saint Dominique Savio school. This was made possible through fundraising from extended family and friends. Now he wants to do more by supporting his sister’s dream of having Haitian teenagers participate in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Thus, Réal wants to build a sports and athletics complex. To implement various projects and help facilitate his mission, he is closely collaborating  with a competent team in Haiti, including Engineer Alix Amboise and his brother Engineer Léopold Lamour.
As you know the Lucia Lamour Foundation wants to transform Trou du Nord into a dynamic and sustainable society, thereby leaving a legacy of hope for generations to come. For that reason, the foundation set up a Scholarship program for students and a Microcredit program for teachers.
The president wishes to express his gratitude to all who agreed to participate in the projects mentioned above, especially to his family and friends who helped him stay motivated. Your wisdom and advice has guided him and inspired him to sustain his dedication to the success of the Lucia Lamour Foundation.
